TKMS, Heirloom Carbon Technologies, and thyssenkrupp Calvion have signed two Memorandums of Understanding to build a large‑scale Direct Air Capture hub in Alberta, creating low‑cost CO₂ removal, high‑value jobs and a strong export platform for Canadian clean‑tech companies. The project combines Heirloom’s mineral‑based Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology with thyssenkrupp Calvion’s engineering expertise and complies with Canada’s ITB policy for technology transfer and local economic development.
